Did You Ever Wonder.....

A Correction...but we admit no error. We insert little factoids under the "did you know" headings to serve as fillers. Some pieces are of unknown origin that have been published anonymously elsewhere. James McCutchen, a Case Manager for CP Civil, quickly responded to last issue's "duck's quacks don't echo" assertion, with a column clipped from the Philadelphia Weekly. Evidently, some midwesterneer sought confirmation of the "no echo" allegation and could get neither verification nor denial from the animal science department at Michigan State University. The author then conducted his own experiment in some quack-a-mamy location with an alleged duck and generated an echo.

Well, Mr. McCutchen, we don't admit we're wrong so easily. If you or anyone else can get a duck's quack to echo in City Hall courtyard, we'll not only admit we're wrong, but we'll give you an FJD coffee mug!
