The Family Division held its annual Employee Awards ceremony at 1801 Vine Street on May 29. Administrative Judge Paul Panepinto hosted the ceremony, which acknowledged the accomplishments of employees in many areas. Family Division judges and employees and guests from other FJD Divisions were in attendance.
The Domestic Branch's employees of the Year included: Heidi Johnson, Edward Lehmann, Richard Mattia, Marilyn Miller, Henry Nesbitt, Michele Stover, Joanne Tyczka, Anthony Vanore, Gurnell Williams, and Theresa Wines. The Children and Youth Services Branch presented awards to Helen Durham and Maris Kraft, while Management and Staff recognized Edward Bogan, Veronica McCafferty, and Domenic Severio. Service awards were given to 22 employees with 25 years of service and 9 employees with 30 years of service. Also recognized were Patricia Kelly (35 years of service) and Erv Davis (45 Years of service). Special recognition awards were also given to: Erv Davis for his extraordinary career with the Court; Dominic Masciantonio, recently retired Court Counsel, for many years of special service; and former Deputy Court Administrator Naomi Post who left the Court on July 3 after years of tireless service to children. Family Court has a tradition of using sick leave sparingly. Perfect attendance awards for 1997 were conferred on 115 employees. The ceremony was capped off with refreshments provided by the Family Court Food Committee. | ||
