Municipal Court's Frank
Talent recently received a citation for his heroic efforts in capturing a purse snatcher and
holding him until police arrived. Frank was returning from a
baseball game in his umpire uniform when he observed the crime
(the losing team said the crime was the only thing he saw
correctly all night). Pictured below at the award ceremony are

Judge Robert S. Blasi, Frank Talent, Police Commissioner
John Timoney, and former President Judge
Joseph Glancey. Way to go,

The Courterly, the first
district-wide newsletter in one of the oldest jurisdictions in the country,
is celebrating its first of many
anniversaries this month. Due to our lack of
newsletter experience, we have stumbled at times while relying on a trial-and-error approach to publishing. Despite
this, comments have been positive and we
have benefitted from many constructive suggestions from employees. We
